Allow Me to re-introduce the Christ

Blair Wingo, a young poet and missionary, has inspired many with her poetic flair urging the Church to rise against relativism and even modernism in the Church. Let the true gospel, the only gospel be spread in truth, which is in Christ, Jesus.

Eternal Marriage

Upon entering the Mormon page titled "Mormons and Eternal Marriage," one can learn and be relieved to find that, yes, once and for all, according to Mormons, mind you, we will be able to enjoy marriage in heaven as was done on earth.

The website states, "An eternal marriage can only be performed in Mormon temples by a man with the proper sealing authority. An eternal marriage allows a righteous man and women the opportunity to continue their marriage throughout eternity."

In order to avoid further confusion, truth must be told and proclaimed---there is no marriage in heaven. At the onset of this statement, it is understandable if some may want to shed a few tears. "Love for ever and ever" is a romantic phrase that makes one believe that love can be maintained here on earth and onto eternity.

After careful study of the word and much thought, it seems a ridiculous notion to think that couples would be married and in harmony in heaven. If that were the case, none of the attention would be given to God, rather, couples would be torn between serving the Lord and serving their spouse, as it so happens on earth.

The bible states in Mark 12:18 "And Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection. And they asked him a question, saying, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. There were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and when he died left no offspring. And the second took her, and died, leaving no offspring. And the third likewise. And the seven left no offspring. Last of all the woman also died. In the resurrection, when they rise again, whose wife will she be? For the seven[th husband] had her as wife."

Jesus said to them, "Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know
neither the Scriptures nor the power of God? They neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven."

From the time one steps foot in heaven for the very first time, nothing will matter. All will lose its importance, and the only one worthy of our love, focus, attention, and desire will be the Saviour who called them out of darkness. No husband, no wife, no child will be a priority, for all will be before the throne of God, simultaneously worshipping only their Creator as it should have been done on earth.
